About the presenters:

Deborah Beaumont is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Functional Medicine Practitioner and two time cancer survivor with more than 30 years of clinical nursing experience working with patients and families.  Through education, support and advocacy she empowers her clients navigate the complicated decisions they need to make in   their healthcare and recovery.

Deborah has a varied and multidisciplinary background. After experiencing frustrations and complications not well addressed by a strictly conventional medicine approach she began looking outside of traditional medicine to find more integrative and holistic health solutions for herself and her clients.  Her education and training encompasses psychology, integrative health, mind-body medicine and functional medicine.  She believes an integrative approach is necessary to help her clients truly address the root cause of their health issues and develop a plan to correct the imbalances that are contributing to ongoing health issues and chronic disease.

Deborah is passionate about working with women recovering from breast cancer and helping them navigate the many treatment decisions they are faced with not only to address breast cancer but to address the long term health aspects of recovery from cancer treatment.  The consequences of traditional treatment too often leave women dealing with health issues and hormone imbalances that are too often ignored in conventional medicine and recurrence prevention.  She practices a mind-body, integrative approach that empowers her clients to plan for their long term health and have a good quality of life.

As an Advance Practice Nurse she believes in bridging western medicine and holistic medicine to empower her clients to actively engage in their own health and recovery.
