What is Zerona?

ZERONA® is a new non-invasive body sculpting procedure designed to remove fat and contour the body without invasive surgery. ZERONA®, unlike other procedures, allows the patient to continue their daily activities without interruptions from surgery, pain, wounds, or garments. After each treatment, the patient is able to participate in normal daily activities, no matter how strenuous. This means no time off from work and no days away from the gym.

How does this treatment work?

ZERONA® works by utilizing the Erchonia® Laser Scanner, which is also FDA market cleared for laser assisted liposuction. The Laser Scanner allows for the emulsification of adipose tissue, which releases into the interstitial space. This is basically just empty space present in the body between cells. The excess fat is then passed through the body during its normal course of detoxification. As with many other cold laser or low-level laser treatments, this procedure simply stimulates natural bodily reactions, meaning it is natural and harmless. Your procedure is performed by Dr. Lorri Beauchamp, a licensed doctor of oriental medicine (DOM) with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition who is certified in low-level laser therapy and has many years of clinical experience. She also has a unique way of blending the ancient knowledge of Chinese medicine with newer technologies such as laser treatment.

Is the treatment proven to work?

The ZERONA® procedure was proven through a double-blind, randomized, multi-site, and placebo-controlled study in which patients, on average, lost 3.64 inches from their waist, hips, and thighs. This result is dramatic compared to the placebo group, which only lost an average of half an inch. With our combination approach of lymphatic drainage massage and specialized body wrap offered at our Diamante Day Spa location, the results are even more pronounced. Our results have ranged between 2-22 inches in 2-3 weeks. In addition to Zerona, we recommend following a sensible diet and exercise plan.

During the first 20 minutes of the treatment, the practitioner will instruct you on the use of our lymphatic stimulation machine that is used during the Zerona treatment. It provides a gentle, rocking motion to the hips and pelvis to stimulate blood flow and remove excess fat out of the adipose tissue while the laser is working. Zerona is not for visceral fat (fat that’s hard to pinch beneath the skin), and is contraindicated during pregnancy.

Although no adverse incidents have been reported, patients with the following conditions should not be treated:
